I don't understand

skirt:  tjmaxx   tank: shadeclothing  maternity   vest: loft    necklace: groopdealz

I don't understand how I'm supposed to sleep comfortably in my bed after finding a tick crawling on me the other night while in bed, and then another one on our wall the next day.   And I don't understand why I felt the need to take a picture of it and share it with you.  I'm sorry.  It really it too disgusting.

I don't understand why my belly has started growing sideways instead of straight out.  Isn't that the wrong way?
I don't understand why last week I lost more than a handful of followers and how to not let that bother me a little.
I don't understand how I am supposed to have energy after school when it is in the upper 80's outside and I'm in an non air conditioned classroom with 21 sweaty, restless kids who are ready for summer, with a pregnant belly that makes me even more sweaty and tired.
I don't understand why all shows end in May.  I would much prefer 90210, Modern Family and Parks and Recreation to continue throughout the summer.
Speaking of tv shows, I don't understand why Netflix sucks me in with the first two seasons of shows like Sister Wives and Hart of Dixie, but doesn't have the rest of the seasons available.

I don't understand why my sister has to go back to Vermont after visiting this weekend.  Wishing she could stay!
and I don't understand why I forgot to pick a winner for the Target giftcard giveaway.  Congratulations to Deborah Rose!  Email me at katiejvale@yahoo.com and Lindsay and I will get you your prize.

  3. Oh my goodness...no air conditioning in your classroom. You may deserve a summer vacation more than any of us!

  4. Oh my, ticks! I had a roach run past the microwave while I was heating up my food at work last week! There, now I shared something equally disgusting :) I don't understand why all of the good shows have to end in May either and leave nothing but reruns for the summer months :( I don't understand why I have been receiving fewer comments on my blog the last few months :( But you look great in this outfit! :)

  5. Ticks, yuck! I had a TARANTULA in my classroom a couple of weeks ago (apparently they loveee South Central TX in the spring) and that night in bed, I couldn't help but have the feeling that creepy crawlers were all over me! I'm so sorry you lost a group of followers, who wouldn't love you?! I aspire to have at least half of what you currently have! Someday... and Netflix sucks us in too! They're tricky tricky.

  6. Ticks = gross!!!! Do you have a dog? I wonder where they came from. I would be so freaked out too! Glad you had a fun weekend w/ your sister even if it went by too quickly.

  7. I've lost 20+ Twitter followers in the last week or so. Who knows the reasons...

A belly growing sideways would concern me too :)

  8. Tis the season...I am constantly checking our dogs!!! Ewww. Ok, funny prego story...when I was prego with our first I had terrible nightmares...one of which was I SWORE there was a spider on the wall of our bedroom. Poor hubby spent over an hour trying to hunt the sucker down, to no avail, because well...it was a nightmare. LOL You my dear however have living proof, and I now have a hubby who tells me to collect my own bugs! No A/C in the classroom??? That is so 1970s!!! Okay, baby belly growing sideways...not really, just baby's most comfortable position right now (it will change). Never really understood the whole "sister wives" thing...really???

  10. I don't understand how you don't feel like death in a non-ac classroom. My office has AC and every day I have these moments where I swear I am fire I am so dang hot!!

  16. Holy cow, that's a huge tick! I would have freaked out! It actually makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Don't get me started about shows ending, I'm still heartbroken that The Office is NEVER coming back : (

  17. Wow that is a huge tick! OMG I wouldn't be able to sleep either knowing that there could be more.... eeee!!!!

I also completely agree with Netflix being a tease. I also have Hulu which will recommend a new show for me only to have Season 3 available and not the first two...which then are also not available on Netflix either. *sigh*

Thanks for sharing. Hope you can stop by www.curvesandacamera.com soon.

  19. I totally grew sideways instead of out with my daughter. My son I looked like I had a ball stuck under my shirt the whole time. This one I am growing out again so I feel like it is another girl.

    No AC sucks!

  20. You may have lost some followers but I wanted to let you know I'm a new follower! So at least you have gained some :) And now seeing the picture of the tick is going to keep me up all night staring at my walls.

  21. We have been dealing with ticks in Indiana as well. Last year was worse as I found 25 between February and the end if April. And yes, that was in my house or on my "treated" animals!!! This year we are up to 5. They are horrible!

  25. OMG! The tick is scary!!!!! And it bothers me when I lose followers too, especially when it's a handful at one time. It's hard not to take personally :( But just keep doing what you're doing girl! You definitely have a loyal following of people who love you!

  26. I am right there with you on Sister Wives. Love it, but can't imagine living it. I completely don't understand why they don't have all of the seasons available.

  28. Glad you had a good time with your sister, but sorry she had to go back home! I hated when we lived away from family...it was so hard!! The follower (or loss of followers) has been getting to me too this week. It's hard not to let it bother you. Keep smiling :)

  29. Girl, you have an UNairconditioned classroom??? How do you do it??

  30. Yuck, ticks totally freak me out! I wish shows would all end at different times so that you still had something to watch when one ends. On the bright side you look so adorable! :)

  33. I totally agree with you about shows ending! WHY!? And I had the exact same thing happen to me with Scandal. The first season is available on Netflix but where can I start season 2 from the beginning? So frustrating.
