High Five for Friday

shirt: TJMaxx  skirt: target  shoes: kohls

1.  I bought these shoes last weekend and have worn them at least three times this week.  I love them.

2.  I made this recipe this week.  BLT Pasta Salad

warmer weather = more salad recipes for dinner

3. Last week my mom and I made favors for Jacob and Lauren's wedding.
By the 400th pretzel we got pretty good at it.

We put two together in a bag with a ribbon.  Wish I would've taken a picture of the finished product!

4. Isn't this idea the cutest?
This weekend, I am going to try to make one of these signs for my nephew Travis to carry down the aisle for my brother's wedding.

5.  We've got some big dates coming up in the next few weeks.

Chris' 30th birthday is Saturday.
My brother's wedding is next weekend.
Our 7 year anniversary is right after that.
Lots to look forward to!

Have a great weekend!

  7. So, pretty much, I'm just outing myself as a random blog stalker.. because I WANT/NEED those shoes. It's a strong need. I gotta go, I gotta find the shoes. Flats, oh, I love them.

Any any leftover pretzel rods- SEND MY WAY. I love charity.

  27. I like your style. Chic and effortless. Are those the Vera Wang ballet flats from Kohls? If so, I have those too and wear them all the time walking around the city. Super comfy.

Also, can you come over and braid my hair like that? Yes? Ok, great! I live in Chicago. We can go shopping too.

  28. Love your outfit! Those shoes are such a good classic pair that can be worn with literally anything. Good thing they're super comfy!

The pretzels and that BLT salad look AMAZING. My college roommate, sister, mom, and I made treats from my family recipes for my wedding favors and it was one of the best memories, ever! So fun for you and your mom and super sweet of you to take the stress off of them by helping with that!

You are super crafty woman! You need to be blogging about all your DIY projects!

Hope you have a great weekend!

  31. I happen to have a picture of the finished product but don't think I can put it here. I'll send it to your phone. Some people thought the last ones would look worse than the first ones but fortunately that wasn't the case!
