Smiling . . .

top: borrowed    jeans:  ross maternity    jewelry: new york & co  flats: target

because even though it's been windy and rainy this last week, you can finally see my grass and not snow!

because I love Saturdays like this.  Coffee, couch, Molly in the morning, then errands and dinner with Chris.

because I'm blessed by sweet blogging friends like Christina and Molly, who've sent me gifts for our baby girl.

because my 92 year old grandma is visiting from California this week and she hasn't been out here for over ten years.

because I made another canvas to match the green polka dots for our nursery.

because I've gotten to know these sweet ladies that you should check out if you haven't already.

Desiree from Macke Monologues.

Desiree started her blog as a way to keep connected with family and friends after her adorable son was born, and like most of us, uses her blog as an outlet among life's craziness, like the challenges of being a mom.  Desiree is also a runner who, after a scary accident a few years ago, is ready to run her second half marathon in a few weeks!  Besides the delicious recipes shes posts, I love that Desiree posts about real life and everything that comes with it!

Sybil from Peace it All Together.

I love Sybil and her blog because she writes about a mix of everything.  Honesty and wisdom, stories about her and her family, and she even started doing fashion posts, after she recently got a little closet makeover with tons of cute outfits.  Which I know you'll agree with me that she should keep doing them!  Sybil has one of the sweetest hearts of anyone I've "met" in the blogging world.  I always leave her blog encouraged and know you will too!

Lesley from By the Porchlight.

If you want to read a fun blog that gives you tons of creative ideas, DIY projects, recipes all with a fun girl writing it, then you need to check out Lesley's blog.  Lesley is Altantic Canandian blogger, that's looking for her dream job, whose "things I love list" matches quite a few to mine like Modern Family, New Girl and staying in with her husband on a Friday night!

What is making you smile today?  I know - it's a little more challenging to think of something on a Monday!

Hope you have a good start to the week!
