It's OK that half of the time when I decide what to wear I look at pinterest. Case in point . .
.
Too bad I can't replicate the sunshine and flowers.
It's OK that I ate half a bag of chocolate goldfish at one time.
Then another large amount at breakfast the next day.
It can't count as dessert, they're goldfish.
It's OK that every time I wear something I make to work, (like here or here) I bring a needle, thread and safety pins in my purse just in case I have a wardrobe malfunction.
So far so good.
It's OK that I found this in a salad that I made and brought for lunch.
What is this? a bamboo stick?
This is actually not OK.
It's OK that my trunk has been open while driving at least three times in the last two weeks.
I must be pressing the trunk button at some point without knowing it.
It's OK that one of my student's cell phone rang during our state testing today.
What grade do I teach? Third.
Who would be calling an eight year old at 11:00 on a Wednesday?
Happy Thursday!
SOOOO excited I get to see my sister, niece and nephew tomorrow night!

Last day to enter my headband giveaway at Meg's blog.
I've never tried the chocolate goldfish. They sound so good though! 8 year olds having cell phones? What is the world coming to? haha! :)
ReplyDeleteI have had a bamboo type stick in a salad that I made at home too!! I was totally creeped out. I don't think lettuce of any kind grows with bamboo - especially if it's grown in ND.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you're wearing. You are too cute!
there are chocolate goldfish??? what??
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct: all of those things are OK! Except the third grader with important phone calls at 11am. What? Ha! Have a good week! 2 more days!
ReplyDeleteI've only had one cell phone disruption this year, but the teacher next door to me collects her 4th graders' cell phones each morning and always has a pile on her desk!
ReplyDeleteahhh! a third grader has a cell phone?! what are the parents thinking? i love love love chocolate goldfish :) they are amazing. i cannot buy them very often because i typically eat the bag in 1-2 sittings :)
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit, I keep trying to pull off the belted look but feel like I'm not getting it quite right. And I can completely relate to popping my trunk open, my mind is everywhere all of the time and I sometimes just don't think!
ReplyDeleteGosh a third grader with a phone??? I wish they had them in my time but I doubt my parents wouldve let me have one let alone take it to school!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit, I have a cardigan thats a bit big and never knew what to do with it but now I do :) Thanks.
Have a good day.
I want your wardrobe! Loving the knotted belt. Have fun with your fam! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been looking at Pinterest a whole bunch lately before I get dressed to go out! I'm beginning to think that I can't dress myself without it :)
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! i should get more outfit inspirations from pinterest! i mean.. i do have a fashion board after all!
ReplyDeleteYou are a riot! (do only really old people use that phrase? Does this mean I'm really old?) anyway, you made me literally laugh out loud several times reading this. Can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteSo funny, well...not the bamboo stick part. I feel for teachers these days, there are already enough distractions, but a third grader with cell phone calls at 11:00 am? Really???
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh :) Loving the pinterest inspired outfit - and chocolate gold fish? That just made my day so much better - how did I not know about these??

Chocolate goldfish? How did I not know about this?! Definitely looking for them the next time I'm at the grocery store :) Pinterest is the best when you can't think of an outfit! And that's ridiculous that a 3rd grader has a cell phone.

Wow, technology encroaching third grade classroom! I hope it was just a random incident! Kids need to use cell phones only in emergency!
